PML began in 1986 with one coordinate measuring machine (CMM) in a 5 X 20 foot office.  PML has grown to include four CMMs, a Faro arm, CAD workstations, an LOM machine, and a machine and mold shop.  Our services have expanded from first article inspection and quality assurance to include prototyping, tooling, and reverse engineering.  Our client list includes many of the world's leading firms in the commercial, industrial, defense and aerospace industries. PML has preferred supplier status with many of these companies, base on several criteria:

ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/IEC Guide 17025 Certifications

PML received ISO 9002 certification in October, 2000. ISO is an international certification that a company conforms to standards for quality and service. Regular quality reviews and audits ensure that PML maintains this required level of quality system. In 2003, PML received ISO 9001:2000 certification.

PML is also certified to ISO/IEC 17025 (formerly Guide 25) for measurement laboratories. In order to achieve certification, PML's inspection facility, personnel, and documentation system had to meet stringent guidelines required by an international certification registrar, Det Norske Veritas Certification, Inc.

In obtaining certifications, we are on the leading edge to respond to the manufacturing industry's demand for their sub-tier suppliers to use independent and certified labs. As such, PML's internal inspection procedures meet the same standards required of independent laboratories. ISO certifications permit the continued smooth flow of PML's services across international borders where most customers demand ISO certifications.

Products

PML has designed and manufactured a line of automotive products. We created our new line of transmission pans, valve and differential covers using our in-house CAD/CAM technology, inspection lab, prototyping machine and mills. This allowed us to thoroughly test for form, fit and function before they went into production. PML also does private label parts for those customers interested in promoting their idea or company name on machined castings. We are very excited about our venture into the automotive aftermarket.
